The 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has taken place on August the 26th on the Pebble Beach Golf Links in California, USA. The event is the conclusion of the Monterey Classic car week, which also includes the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion event at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca.
The Concours d’Elegance sees over 200 of the world’s most collectable cars put under the microscope and judged for authenticity, function, history, and style in a range of classes.
Australia was well represented with West Australian Alan Tribe taking out first in class in the European Classic late category with his beautiful 1939 Lagonda Le Mans V12 Rapide Drophead Coupe.
The big prize, Best of Show award was bestowed to a stunning blue 1937 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta.
The 69th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance returns on Sunday, August 18, 2019, and will celebrate the centennials of Bentley and Zagato.
